These will be short principles that have brought me great insight and understanding of myself, people, and the world. I hope you can utilize them in your life and share with others. Remember, you don't want to miss my daily memoir: "The Mindset of Purpose". Both blogs are located at: live600.weebly.com.You will see "blog" twice at the top right or left of your screen. One will take you to this page, and the other will take you to my memoir. Follow me on Instagram @Girldesperation and on Facebook @LaToya Easter. Every post on this page will begin with this greeting and the blog will begin hereafter.
Thank you for LIVE- ing,
1.) Monday can make or break your entire week.
If you start your week out with disaster, lack of motivation, lack of purpose, and lack of desire, you've already declared how your week will go. Monday should begin with goals; there should be something you plan to achieve everyday beyond just showing up for work. If that's all you have to look forward to then you've officially become stagnant.
2.) Monday is a fresh start.
Monday can begin a new journey or continue an ongoing one. Whatever the case, if you left the journey in dismay on Friday, Monday gives you an opportunity to start anew. The number one thing you can do on Monday is forget about everything that went wrong Friday. The cycle of "work" for Monday should be: approach, delivery, and contingency.
3.) Monday's build capacity.
Monday is the number one day to be on your "A" game, because most people are not. You can leverage your position in any organization by being "flawless" on Monday's. If you're at the entry level of an organization or at the top, Monday begins with "the business at hand". There's no time to "shoot the bull" if you're really invested in "working on the work" on Monday. So, get after your Monday's because they are the prerequisite to your Tuesdays- Fridays.
